Why hasn’t my secret, that I sent in ages ago, been posted yet?
We have thousands of secrets waiting to be posted. We try to post 300+ every day but often we also receive 300+ each day. It is very likely that we just haven’t gotten to yours yet. Please know that this can take its time. The current waiting time is three weeks but this increases on holidays and long weekends.
If your secret hasn’t been posted within four weeks, do either of the following things

Ask a mod to help you find it
Search for it by searching for a word which was written in your secret (the search bar can be found at the bottom of the homepage)
Resend it and ask the mods to contact you when it is posted
Resend it and ask the mods to censor anything that might prevent it from being posted

Please do not send in messages saying how your secret hasn’t been posted. If you only say, “My secrets never get posted”, you’re giving us no chance to help you. We are doing the best we can and by doing this, it takes us longer to actually post secrets.

You don’t like me/think what I sent in is weird/wrong/stupid and that’s why my secret hasn’t been posted.
We post all secrets we get sent if they follow the rules. We never select “better” ones or ignore secrets that don’t agree with our views.

Why are there x’s where there’s supposed to be a number?
We got a lot of comments from followers saying that this blog was very triggering to them. We do not want anyone to be triggered to do anything self destructive so we have decided to cencor numbers such as weights, BMI’s, calories and sizes. We are aware that a lot of people want the numbers back but right now, that will not happen. The mods might take it up for discussion in the future but please accept the fact that this rule will not change right now.

This blog hurts more than it helps.
We’re very sorry you think so. This blog was only started as a safe place for people with eating disorders to lessen their burdens. We don’t want anyone to view this page as pro-eating disorders. If you feel this blog might be triggering you, please do not look at, contribute to or follow it.

You said in a secret that you _, why/how?
There are 45,000+ followers of this blog and most secrets are from anonymous posters - not just one person. If you have a question about a secret and want an answer, we suggest you reblog the post and maybe the original poster will answer you.

I want an eating disorder, how do I get one/can I get tips?
Trust me, you don’t want an eating disorder. If you don’t have one yet, please leave this blog. If you visit other blogs similar to this one, delete them too. It’s easy to get sucked in but probably the hardest thing a person has to do to get out. An eating disorder is not just not eating or losing weight. It is hating oneself so much that food is a luxury one does not deserve. Please, if you don’t have one, leave this blog immediately.

What’s your name/tumblr/ED/age/weight/height etc?
We are twenty different mods on this blog. If you want to ask a certain mod a question, you can find a few of them deanoned on the mod list.

How can I become a mod?
At the moment, no new mods are needed. If we need more mods in the future, we will post an announcement.

What kinds of secrets don’t get posted?
Here are some examples of secrets that break our rules are are therefore deleted and not posted. These examples can be triggering.

Why is the ask box closed?
To stay on top of submissions and post confessions as quickly as possible we need to close the ask box regularly. Be patient, it will open soon. If you need to talk to someone, refer to support, if you have a question you can go to our formspring. All secrets sent in to the e-mail/formspring will be replied to as a question. They will not be published on the blog.

How do I block posts tagged with “CAEDM”?

Do you do promotions/ can you follow me?
No, we can’t follow anyone and we never promote blogs, any posts suggesting we do are lies, we have had a problem with this with one of our admins, please do not do any actions such as following a blog or instagram in the hope of a promo on here.

Can I ask you something/ speak to someone?

If you want to speak to one of our mods or want a reply please come off anon and we will try to get back to you, we get a lot of messages so please don’t be upset if we don’t straight away.
